The Children's Wish Foundation grants wishes to children between the ages of three and seventeen who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Most referrals come from parents, family members or the network of doctors, nurses and social workers engaged with the child. Each wish is as unique as the child who makes it. By far our most popular wish has been a Disney experience for children and their families. In 2009, we celebrated our 25th anniversary and granted our 15,000th wish.
