In business my motto is "Old fashion values with Old fashion service". When people ask what I do for a living I tell them that I make buying and selling easier by taking care of all the paperwork and making the process as worry free as possible. In real life I have come to know that life is too short and that we need to live and be in the moment. It is nice to have plans for the future but we should also live and enjoy life today. I believe that what goes around comes around. I started as a Realtor working with Royal LePage Connect Realty Brokerage and as of this year 2011; I have been a Sales Representative for 8 years. Royal LePage has it's own charity where 100% of the proceeds go to Shelters in our communities and the education of people to prevent violence against women. I am a proud supporter of the Shelter Foundation. This year we are having our 3rd annual Charity Garage Sale for Shelter. It will be held at our office 335 Bayly Street West on Saturday May 14th, 2011, tell everyone and bring a friend. There will be coffee, donuts, BBQ, entertainment and items for everyone young and old to purchase.
Prior to being self employed I have 10 and a half years retail experience, 7 years in manufacturing, 6 and a half years in banking and I worked part-time for a group of psychiatrists doing dicta-typing. I am a mother of two beautiful young men age 13 and 19. My husband and I have lived in Ajax for the past 23 years.
I am a member of the Ajax/Pickering Toastmasters and have held a variety of positions including secretary, president and past president. I have served as the chair and parent representative of my childrens school, I currently sit on the Regional Council as the recording secretary and I am a member of the Toronto Dominion Friends of the Environment Committee (TDFEF).
One of my favourite quotes is "Worry is the interest paid on a debt not yet owed." Don't take yourself too seriously, have fun, and if we all treat each other the way we want to be treated the world will be a better place.
